Reba Scores 14th Top Female Vocalist ACM Nomination
Reba scored an Academy of Country Music Award Nomination for Top Female Vocalist this morning. The superstar was surprised live on-air with the news as she and Country star Blake Shelton announced the nominations on the CBS Early Show. The accolade marks Reba's 14th Academy of Country Music Award Nomination for Top Female Vocalist alone.
"I was already thrilled to be hosting the ACM's again, but now to be nominated with all of these great girls in the female vocalist category, I am tickled to pieces," said Reba. "It's been such an amazing year. Thanks to Country Radio and to the fans for all your love and support. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Country music fans are THE best fans in the world."
Reba will host the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 18th, live on CBS, at 8:00 pm ET/ 7:00 pm CT. The multimedia superstar returns as host for the 12th time.
